Neville Stanway

Ps Neville is the Executive Director of Church Empowerment. He is an inspirational speaker with a strong, Apostolic teaching anointing on his life. He has a passion to see the church rise up and fulfill the Great Commission. He has a great capacity to see the 'Big Picture', and to develop strategies to see the church mobilized.

He ministers internationally in countries like China, Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Mozambique, South Africa, Malaysia, Thailand, New Zealand, Singapore, Myanmar, Germany & the USA. He works primarily with Pastors and Leaders from different denominations, helping develop dynamic, interactive Mission programs.

He previously served as the Australasian Regional Leader for Pathfinders International. He worked for five years as the WA State Mission Director and the WA 1st Priority Representative, where he was responsible for mobilizing a network of churches for missions. He has worked full-time as a Mission's Director since December 1998. During this time he has been specializing in helping churches develop a Church-Centered Missions model.

Neville is happily married to Lisa, and he has four beautiful daughters aged 17, 19, and two married daughters aged 21 & 23. He attends the Sonrise Church in Falcon, where he is an Associate Minister.

Steve Maina
NZCMS National Director.

Steve arrived in NZ two years ago from Kenya to become the National Director of the New Zealand Church Missionary Society, based in Christchurch.

He was previously General Secretary of Church Army Africa, an indigenous mission agency based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Church Army Africa has trained and deployed over 500 evangelists and missionaries in Eastern and Central African countries. He is particularly interested in developing healthy and strategic mission partnerships between Churches in the West and those in the Non-western world.

Steve is married to Mary, a counselling psychologist.
They have two children ( Rinna-10 and Tanielle-7).

Emma Stokes

Emma Stokes has worked as the Youth Director for Global Connections in Missions for the past six years. She developed and still oversees the Headspace gap year programme which includes discipleship training, work experience and a 10 week mission trip.

Emma has spoken at youth and mission events. She is married to Mark and they have one child, Gabriel. They attend Greerton Bible Church Tauranga where she is also the Mission Team Leader. Emma previously worked with World Vision, and as a Policy Analyst for McKinley Douglas."


She holds qualifications in Economics & Political Science, and is working towards a Graduate Diploma in Theology.Emma desires to see a rising generation of young people in New Zealand, who are fully engaged with who God is and ready to take their place in His mission.
